・Actual Craft Description
The Taigei-class submarines are successors to the Soryu-class. The lead vessel, Taigei, entered service in March 2022.
While resembling the Soryu class externally, it features lithium-ion batteries enabling higher capacity and output, improving its submerged endurance.
The fourth vessel, Raigei, was launched in October 2023 and is scheduled to enter service in March 2025.

Features parts separation for easy assembly and painting while reproducing differences from the Soryu, such as the widened upper hull and sail base. Includes hull number and name decals for SS-516 Raigei and SS-517 (to be named in Fall 2024).
