Waterfall Park is a modern remake of the classic game Chinatown, designed for easy play. While the theme of building an amusement park is fun, negotiating with other players is key to successfully expanding your attractions. In Waterfall Park, players become one of the contractors involved in building the amusement park and compete against other players. The game is played over 4 rounds, during which players acquire vacant lots, build attractions, negotiate exchanges with other players, and ultimately aim to be the player with the most coins. This game is not turn-based; all players proceed simultaneously. Each round consists of four phases: Preparation, Exchange, Construction, and Income.
During the Preparation phase, secure vacant lots and become their owner.
In the Exchange phase, freely combine lots, attractions, and coins to negotiate trades with other players. Make deals that satisfy you. Immediate agreements must be honored, but future promises are not necessarily binding.
During the Construction phase, you can place your attraction tiles on your owned empty spaces.
An attraction is completed when the required number of tiles are adjacent to it.
Then, in the Income phase, you earn income from all completed attractions.
By expanding your attractions within the park this way, the player with the most coins after 4 rounds wins.
