Oiva Toikka's “Tundra” was originally one of Toikka's favorite designs, produced only for two years from 1970 to 1971. It was a collection he himself had long hoped to see reissued. \
Tundra features a patterned design inspired by the tundra regions (treeless permafrost stretching across Europe, Asia, and North America), including Lapland. It delicately expresses approximately 12 intricate patterns inspired by the mosses, shrubs, and lichens covering Lapland. \
The slightly larger bowl is perfect for serving fruit and nut platters, desserts like tiramisu or scoop cakes, and even as an accessory tray. \
