It also enhances character customization for investigators,
adding more distinctive modern Japanese professions (like net celebrities and video journalists),
along with optional rules for randomly assigning traits.
Furthermore, it includes rules for fanatics and investigators descended from the Deep Ones. New firearms and grimoire data are also added. Alongside the usual three scenarios, one solo scenario is included for single-player enjoyment when companions are unavailable.
