Product Description
V Hobby “1/700 US Navy Light Cruiser San Diego CL-53 1944 Standard Edition” Plastic model kit.
The USS San Diego, a light cruiser of the United States Navy, was commissioned in 1942 as the third ship of the Atlanta-class cruisers.
She primarily served as an escort for aircraft carriers in the South Pacific Theater and was recorded as the first U.S. Navy vessel to enter Tokyo Bay after the war. San Diego received 18 battle stars for her service during World War II.
This superb kit recreates the World War II appearance of the USS San Diego as a ship model with exquisite detail.
The injection-molded plastic hull comes with decals.
