KP Model “1/72 American Let L-420 Turbolet” Plastic Model Kit.
The L-410 is a twin-engine turboprop passenger aircraft developed by LET Knovice in Czechoslovakia during the 1960s. Numerous units were also introduced in other Eastern European countries, including the Soviet Union, to replace the piston-engine biplane An-2. Over 1,100 aircraft were produced in total across the series.
The L-410UVP is the third production variant following the L-410A and L-410M, featuring modifications to the cargo compartment and horizontal stabilizer, along with an extended wingspan. The L-420 is a variant equipped with the more powerful M601F engine than the L-410UVP. The L-420's engine upgrade increased its maximum takeoff weight, thereby also increasing its passenger capacity.
