The “Firecrest Ultra ND” series is a cinema-grade square ND filter series offering exceptional durability and neutrality.\
Choose from four variations: Full IRND, Soft Grad IRND, Hard Grad IRND, and Reverse Grad IRND. \
Highly regarded in Europe and America for its superior neutral characteristics as an IRND filter, this series has been adopted for numerous film and television productions. \

The “Firecrest Ultra Soft Grad IRND 100mm×150mm” is an ND filter designed with a gradual density change from the top to the center. It is used to reduce brightness differences in compositions with high contrast, such as bright skies and dark ground, or bright exteriors and dark interiors. \
The lineup includes five densities: 0.3 (1 stop reduction/equivalent to ND2), 0.6 (2 stops reduction/equivalent to ND4), 0.9 (3 stops reduction/equivalent to ND8), 1.2 (4 stops reduction/equivalent to ND16), and 1.5 (5 stops reduction/equivalent to ND32). \
Filter dimensions are 100mm wide × 150mm high, with a thickness of 2mm.\

The IRND filter coating utilizes a “Rare Earth Metal Coating” that absorbs light across all wavelength ranges (ultraviolet, visible light, near-infrared, infrared) almost uniformly, achieving exceptionally high neutrality.\
Compared to other manufacturers' glass filters, it significantly reduces color cast caused by IR (infrared) light.

It provides resistance to reflections and flare, along with water repellency, maximizing the filter's performance.\
