The new “REVOLUTION” series for “TIME STORIES” is a new cycle of missions weaving tales within the “TIME STORIES” universe.
The game rules have changed, but the mission of the organization protecting humanity and the continuity of spacetime remains unchanged.
“Midsummer Night” is one mission in the “TIME STORIES Revolution” cycle. It is a completely standalone game.
Each mission contains all its own rules and necessary components, requiring no “basic components.”
You can start playing with any mission (the T.I.M.E STORIES base set is not required).

New rules and elements introduced in “Revolution” include: secret progression managed via a face-down punchboard;
management of information using common cards like personal cards and maps for each player's `vessel' (of varying sizes) alongside the standard-sized story cards;\ Time management using Azrak crystals—essentially time-travel resources brought by the “Sheans” at the previous cycle's conclusion—and ability checks replacing dice rolls also enhance playability.
Story-wise, you can play after experiencing the previous installment, or start directly with ‘Midsummer Night's’.
