Description
Staedtler - Mechanical Pencil - Drafting Mechanical Pencil - 770-15N
Born in 1978 during the heyday of drafting mechanical pencils and discontinued in 1990 to much regret, the legendary 770 series has been updated and revived in a modern version.
Featuring a 4mm sleeve for a wide field of view, a metal grip cut in a herringbone pattern, the letter “F” on the barrel indicating “Fest” (fixed) in German, and a design combining a resin body with a brass grip section for enhanced feel and durability, this drafting mechanical pencil boasts a simple design while showcasing meticulous attention to detail throughout.
Despite numerous requests from professional drafting and design users for its revival, certain components proved impossible to manufacture with modern technology, delaying its return. Finally, in 2024, the revival became a reality.
