The long-awaited convertible kit for the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force's first wheeled armored personnel carrier is here. Assemble one vehicle by choosing either the Type A or Type B specification.
This wheeled vehicle is widely deployed to infantry units south of Honshu and is also used for disaster relief missions.
The steering mechanism and suspension system have been thoroughly researched and accurately modeled.
Equipment on the upper hull and the primary armament—the Type 96 40mm automatic grenade launcher and the 12.7mm M2 heavy machine gun—are reproduced with fine detail.
The glass windshield for public road use and the inspection windows on the sides of the hull are clear parts.
The upper/rear troop access hatches are separate parts.
