Players compete as the Eastern Army “Tokugawa Ieyasu” and the Western Army “Ishida Mitsunari”. \

Combat is conducted by widely deploying cards representing Sengoku warlords as units on the table.\
A key feature of this game is the “Strategy Turn” phase before combat. Here, players send secret letters to warlords participating in the battle, attempting to recruit them to their side, much like the strategic maneuvers between Tokugawa and Ishida at Sekigahara. \
Players take turns placing secret letter cards, marked with points from 1 to 5, face-down on any warlord. Each warlord will align with the faction that has assigned the higher point value.\
However, which faction a warlord with a secret letter belongs to is only revealed after the battle begins, when you move them or attack. \
Combat is simple: each general's strength is combined with dice rolls, and the higher total wins. However, this is uniquely enhanced by each general's card effects, a combat formula favoring the attacking side when surrounding the enemy, and the constant uncertainty about who is friend or foe. \
Above all, its strength lies in recreating the unique atmosphere and appeal of Sekigahara better than any previous game, despite being light enough for a first playthrough to last only about 45 minutes, including the exchange of secret letters and the battle itself.\
