Following the highly acclaimed 1/48 scale “Zero Fighter” kit, which was popular not only in Japan but also overseas, we will be releasing a series of 1/72 scale Zero Fighter kits. \
The first release is the early production Type 52 model manufactured by Mitsubishi, reproducing the type that followed the Type 22 and featured a collective exhaust pipe under the cowling.\
The fuselage and wings are molded in green, the cowling and landing gear in black, and the engine, propeller, etc. in gray, with each runner molded in a different color. \
In addition to the aircraft belonging to the Imperial Japanese Navy's ace pilot, Tetsuzo Iwamoto, which is said to have had its rear fuselage covered with marks indicating it had been shot down, this kit includes water-transfer decals for a total of three aircraft: one belonging to the Imperial Japanese Navy's 253rd Air Group in Rabaul, one belonging to the 253rd Air Group in Rabaul, and one belonging to the 252nd Air Group that was active in the Marshall Islands. \
