FineMold 1/700 Nano Dread Series Mantlet Set Plastic Model Parts WA46
The “Nano Dread” series features micro-engraved precision parts utilizing cutting-edge industrial plastic molding technology for models.
“Mantlet” originates from a simple shield. In the Imperial Japanese Navy, it referred to the cylindrical cloth shields attached around the bridges of battleships and aircraft carriers, and around the turrets of cruisers, to protect against enemy shell fragments.
These contained sailors' bedding or hammocks inside.
From mid-1942 (Showa 17) onward, all were removed as a fire prevention measure during attacks.
Completely new mold.
Uses white molded parts.
