Arclight - Quant - 60-120 min - Ages 10+ - Board Game
The first installment of Season 2 in the “Kaiju on the Earth” series. Quant is a kaiju × tower defense-style game. Players become military commanders aiming to defend 7 cities from the insectoid kaiju ‘Quant’ attacking Europe. This game can be played “solo for a deep experience” or “cooperatively with 2-3 players”.
Kaiju abilities are “Proliferation” and “Combination”.
When kaiju gather in one city, they combine, changing form and becoming stronger.
Each form's special abilities will challenge players.
Additionally, each city has a defense capacity, limiting the number of kaiju that can be placed there.
Exceeding this capacity destroys the city. Losing three cities results in defeat. Your hand contains “Strategy Cards” (good effects) that can defeat or move monsters, and “Threat Cards” (bad effects) that cause monsters to multiply or grow stronger. All cards, including the deck, must be used up, making timing and order crucial. Win the game by using all cards through three rounds.
