'Nanatoridori' is a completely revamped version of ‘Hachitorain’, a game that received an Honorable Mention in the ‘Arclight Game Awards 2022’.
Its simplicity lies in using only number cards from ‘1 to 7’, offering a ‘Big Rich’-like experience where the goal is to get rid of your hand quickly.
However, in this game, you cannot rearrange your hand. You connect cards in your hand by “collecting cards from the discard pile.” The sheer satisfaction of playing a set of cards all at once—like a “7-card play.”—in the late game is unbeatable.
A new 2-player “Duel Rule” has been added, absent from the original ‘Hachi Train’.
The intense experience of choosing your next move, knowing you lose after the third pass, creates a sensation unmatched by the standard rules.
