This expansion set is for the game “Route ~Chronicles of the Distant Forest Animals~ Regular Edition Complete Japanese Version”.
This expansion introduces two new factions and four types of mercenary units, offering fresh gameplay experiences.


■Two New Factions
・The “Kingdom of Beasts” faction, aiming to dominate the Great Forest, appoints commanders and leads soldiers across the battlefield.
・The devout knight order faction, the “Armored Guard,” seeks to recover lost treasures. They establish bases while recruiting troops, exploring the forest in search of these treasures.


■Four Mercenary Groups
Mercenary groups initially belong to no faction. As the game progresses, they will cooperate with the faction scoring the most points. However, they will gradually grow dissatisfied and shift allegiance to other factions.
・The “Forest Patrol & Cat Doctor Corps,” whose mission is to protect the forest world
・The “Last Royal Family & Noble Blue Bird,” troops of the Washi Dynasty aiming to demonstrate righteousness
・The “Spring Rebellion & Bunny Scout Corps,” fighting tyrants for freedom
・The “Outcasts & Great Bandits,” bodyguards of the wandering tribes\ nUse these mercenary groups wisely to become the ruler of the Forest World. Requires the ‘Root Base Game’ or ‘Root Regular Edition’ to play.
