Twenty years have passed since the first Power Grid was created, inspired by the 1991 release of Outpost.\
Paying homage to the pioneers of history and incorporating many thematic elements, the latest installment bearing the same name arrives.\
Manage an electric company supplying power for a new planetary colonization project. \

Building power plants and expanding the grid remains familiar, but this time you hire workers instead of fuel to generate power.\
Additionally, the cost of expanding the grid is now randomly determined.\
These changes simplify gameplay while ensuring every game unfolds differently.\
New elements—“Technology” and “Shelter”—have also been added. \
“Technologies” are a new set of cards that grant benefits during the game, also acquired through auctions.\
“Shelters” are locations where you house your own workers, allowing you to use them at no cost.\
Personal boards have been introduced as components, improving playability.\
