The timeless classic TwixT, beloved by fans since its 1962 debut, returns as a GP Original version. Created by renowned game designer Alex Randolph during his stay in Japan, this two-player abstract strategy game draws inspiration from Go and holds deep ties to Japan.
The rules of TwixT are remarkably simple. Players take turns, first and then second, inserting pegs one at a time onto the board. If your pegs are positioned vertically 1 and horizontally 2 (or vertically 2 and horizontally 1) from each other, you can attach a bridge between them. Connect your colored lines drawn along the board's left/right or top/bottom edges using pegs and bridges to win.
Despite its simple rules, the tactics are profoundly deep. Each game offers new discoveries and possibilities in your moves. Safety Warning ・Contains small parts. Do not put in mouth.
