A cooperative game where you spot the forgeries. The hit game that ranked #1 in Germany's 2018 popularity poll(*). The rules are simple: the Artist role creates paintings, and the Curator role selects them. But everyone gets fooled by the forgeries that sneak in.? 【 How to Play 】
First, divide into two teams: Painters and Curator. Players draw cards from their hand to create paintings inspired by the theme. Then, add four painting cards (Bellatti's forgeries) from the top of the deck and shuffle. Then, the curator performs an appraisal to identify the correct paintings. It's a simple cooperative game. Win by identifying a certain number of genuine paintings before the Belratti forgeries are chosen six times.
Sometimes there isn't a painting card that perfectly fits the theme. So, if a card seems too perfect, suspect it might be a forgery. The fun lies in guessing the artist's associations when selecting cards.
① For example, with the theme “Yellow Duck,” cards like “Swim Ring,” “French Fries,” and ‘Beer’ were presented. “Dad loves beer, so I picked yellow beer.” ※The fake was “French fries”.
② For example, with the prompt “Barley ball,” cards like “CD,” “Bat,” and ‘Sneakers’ were presented. “(The artist role) She loves Ohtani, so she definitely picked the bat.” “She probably picked the CD because it's round, right?”
*The fake item was “Sneakers”.
