Description
Station Collection - STA001 - Sankei Line - Utsui Station - Diorama Supplies
Product Description
The San'in Line is a 108.1 km route connecting Gōtsu, which borders the Sea of Japan and connects to the San'in Main Line, to Miyoshi, which connects to the Geibi Line.
The entire line opened in 1975 and has primarily served regional transportation. However, due to declining ridership, it is scheduled for discontinuation on March 31, 2018.
Located near the midpoint of the line, Utsui Station opened in 1975 with the completion of the Hamahara-Kuchiha section. Nestled in mountainous terrain, the line runs between tunnels, necessitating the placement of its platform 20 meters above ground level.
Consequently, 116 steps lead from the ground to the platform, earning it the affectionate nickname “Sky Station.”
To allow you to keep this impressive Utsui Station with you forever, we present it as the first release in our Station Collection. Produced in 1/150 N gauge scale, it recreates the central staircase structure flanked by two side structures (four sections total), representing 110 of the 116 steps. The platform is sized to accommodate two trains.
Ballast bed section: Approx. 317mm long. Please use Tomix Fine Track Rails (e.g., S280×1+S18.5×2).
Includes restroom and bus stop.
Please note some parts are stylized.
Safety Warning
If derailed, the motor/power unit may overheat.
