Tomytec - Railway Collection - Keisei Electric Railway 3600 Series - Manufacturer's First-Order Limited Production - 317173
Keisei Electric Railway is a railway company operating the main line connecting Keisei Ueno Station (Tokyo) and Narita Airport Station (Chiba Prefecture), the Narita Sky Access Line, and various branch lines to destinations such as Oshiage, Kanamachi, and Chiba.
The 3600 Series was manufactured between 1982 and 1989. It was the first commuter train for Keisei Electric Railway to adopt the T-type single-lever controller and field-chopper control.
From 1997, conversion work to 8-car formations began, resulting in formations created by combining surplus leading cars from intermediate car conversions.
Currently, with the introduction of successor vehicles progressing, one 6-car formation and one 4-car formation each continue their final service.
This product is based on the specifications from around 1997 when the 8-car sets appeared, using a 6-car set existing at the same time with matching skirt profiles as its prototype. Enjoy scenes of 8-car sets passing each other when combined with other sets for premium service, or of an 8-car set overtaking a 6-car set.
By using a separately sold power unit and N gauge running parts, this can be operated as an N gauge model train.
