The Hokuriku Railway Group is the largest operator in the Hokuriku region, with a route network covering all of Ishikawa Prefecture.
Following the group reorganization in July 2021, the group companies Komatsu Bus, Hokuriku Kotsu, Kaga Onsen Bus, and Kaga Hakusan Bus were integrated and restructured. Komatsu Bus began as the Ogoya Railway in 1919 and changed its name to Komatsu Bus in 1977. Hokuriku Kotsu began operations in 2005 as a dedicated charter operator with 22 vehicles. Kaga Onsen Bus started operating mainly on routes in the Kaga area in 1994, while Kaga Hakusan Bus began service in 2012 covering areas including Kanazawa City, Hakusan City, Komatsu City, Nomi City, and surrounding areas. In July 2021, Kaga Onsen Bus and Kaga Hakusan Bus changed their names to Hokutetsu Kaga Bus and Hokutetsu Hakusan Bus, respectively. Komatsu Bus's bus operations merged into Hokutetsu Kaga Bus, and Hokuriku Kotsu's bus operations merged into Hokutetsu Hakusan Bus.
This product features a two-vehicle set: Komatsu Bus's first air-conditioned vehicle, the Mitsubishi Fuso Aero-T, and the current-color Hino Rainbow HR.
