Tomytec - Railway Collection - Shizuoka Railway 1000 Series - Initial Paint Scheme with Distributed Air Conditioning - 334101
The Shizuoka Railway 1000 Series was manufactured by Tokyu Car Corporation from 1973 to 1985, with a peak fleet of 12 formations.
They were gradually retired starting in 2016 and replaced by the successor A3000 Series, manufactured from 2016 to 2023.
This model reproduces the appearance of the unpainted stainless steel body, as seen from the introduction of the Shizuoka Railway 1000 Series until around 1985, before the introduction of the front stripes.
By using a separately sold power unit and N gauge running parts, it can be operated as an N gauge model train.
We recommend the TM-06R (18m Class A) power unit, TT-04R running parts set, and PT4811N [0258] pantograph.
*Display base not included.
*Model trains operate on a system powered by the rails. No batteries are used for running, lighting, or illumination.
