Tomytec - Little Armory - M110 SASS Type - Unpainted Assembly Runner Kit - 333548
The Little Armory series combines realism with compatibility for use with articulated figures in this 1/12 scale assembly kit.
Experiencing combat where snipers must engage multiple targets appearing at various distances in urban warfare, the U.S. military recognized the limitations of traditional bolt-action sniper rifles. The M110 SASS semi-automatic sniper rifle was adopted as a solution.
Despite requiring “play” for smooth operation inherent to semi-automatic systems, it boasts a group size of 0.75 MOA... capable of penetrating a coin at 100 meters.
U.S. Army snipers currently operate using both this M110 and the larger-caliber, longer-range bolt-action M2010 sniper rifle, selecting the appropriate weapon based on mission requirements.
This kit is a 1/12 scale model of the M110 SASS.
In addition to the rifle body, it includes attachments like the scope.
Options include suppressor presence/absence, bipod deployment, and stock length selection.
Features two molded colors.
