TOMIX-N Gauge-72/73 Series-98524-Railway Model
The 72/73 series in the Hiroshima area were introduced during the electrification of the Kure Line. Toilets were added to all Sah 78 series cars and some KuHa 79 series cars. Later, the KumoHa 73 and KuHa 79 series were transferred to the Kabe Line, where they operated as four-car sets (two two-car units coupled together) during rush hours. They were retired in 1984. High Grade (HG) specification. Kuha 79-214 features newly produced side windows with a 1:2 vertical ratio sash. Kuha 79-214 reproduces the appearance with a toilet added at the end of the car, with the drain pipe already attached as a separate part. Kuha 79-214's door windows reproduce the wooden frame type. KuMoHa 73-021 and 027 reproduce the modernized version with no front piping, direction sign equipment, and round ventilators below the front windows. The different front warning color schemes for KuMoHa 73-021 and 027 are reproduced. KuHa 79-466 reproduces a car retaining its three-tier windows. Car numbers are pre-printed. H-rubber is reproduced in gray. Ventilators and lightning arresters are pre-installed. Headlights, tail lights, and front display panels feature permanently lit circuit boards. Includes ON-OFF switch. Headlights, tail lights, and front display panels illuminate using warm white LEDs. The front display panels on Komoha 73-021 and 027 use color prisms to emit a near-white light. Separate front display panel parts “(White Base)・(No Printing)” are included. Equipped with close-coupled TN couplers (SP) with piping. The cab end of the leading car uses a TN coupler with a smaller body mount. Features flywheel-equipped power unit, new current collection system, and black wheels. Uses an M-13 motor. ※Due to mold limitations, some shapes differ from the actual vehicle. *Railway models use a system powered by the rails.
