TOMIX-N Gauge-200 Series-Reinforced Skirt-98569
The 185 Series is a DC limited express train introduced in 1981.\
The 185 Series at Tamachi Depot primarily served the limited express “Odoriko.” In addition to the 0-series introduced to replace the 153 Series, the depot also housed the 200-series, snow- and cold-resistant models transferred due to surplus. \
The 185 series used for the “Odoriko” underwent renewal work around 1999, receiving a new paint scheme. Further, in 2010, their skirts were changed to reinforced types. However, starting in 2011, they were repainted to their original appearance: Cream 10 with a diagonal stripe band in Green 14. \
With the timetable revision in March 2021, it ended operation on the limited express “Odoriko” service. As of 2024, two 6-car sets are active on group and special trains.\

The Kuha car features a cover on the typhoon section and reproduces the appearance with snow plows on the bogies. \
The Salo car reproduces the appearance unique to the 200 series with toilet windows.\
Car numbers are selectable with transfer sheets included.\
JR mark, Green Car mark, shoe scrapers, and door rails are pre-printed.\
Toilet tank is pre-installed.\
Train marks include “Odoriko” already attached, “Shonan Liner,” and “Transfer.” \
Headlights, tail lights, and train markings are equipped with a constantly lit board, ON-OFF switch, and white LED illumination.\
Headlights use a color prism to illuminate in a color close to that of a light bulb.\
Powered with flywheel, new current collection system, black wheels, and M13 motor. \
The front car cab side uses a TN coupler (SP) with a small body mount.\
TN couplers (SP) with piping are standard equipment between all coupling faces.\
