TOMIX N Gauge - Fall Prevention Canopy - 8-Car Set - 98868
The 225 Series is a commuter train introduced by JR West in 2010. It succeeded the 223 Series and features a design with enhanced safety focus, including the adoption of a crushable zone at the front end. Inside, it continues to use the “WEST Vision” LCD monitors first introduced on the 321 series, providing information on stopping stations and various operational details. Primarily used on Shin-Kaisoku (New Rapid) and Rapid services, it operates in formations of up to 12 cars. In addition to running with other 225 series 0-series cars, it also operates in combined formations with 223 series and 225 series 100-series cars. Starting in 2015, fall prevention curtains were added to the driver's cab side of the leading car.\

Newly manufactured fall prevention curtains for the leading car front are included, with two types provided: one for the leading car and one for coupled operation.\
Reproduces the appearance with the operation number display removed from the leading car front. \
Equipped with a headlight illumination mechanism that lights up regardless of direction when leading cars are coupled together.\
The driver's cab side of the leading car uses a TN coupler (SP) with a smaller body mount.\
The JR mark and the yellow shoe guard are pre-printed.\
Car numbers are selectable with included transfer sheets. Combining [98868] and [98869] allows reproduction of a 12-car formation. Head/tail lights and front display panels feature permanently lit circuit boards with ON-OFF switches. Head/tail lights and front displays illuminate using white LEDs. The front display comes pre-installed with the printed “Shinkaisoku” part, with replacement parts included. Features flywheel-equipped power unit, new power collection system, and silver wheels. Uses M-13 motor.\
