Product Description
This is a plastic model assembly kit that recreates the US Navy F4U Corsair carrier-based fighter from World War II in 1/72 scale.
Specifically, it models the F4U-1D variant. Kit parts are molded in plastic tinted to match the original U.S. Navy aircraft color, FS15042. Finished length approx. 140mm, wingspan approx. 170mm. Accurately reproduces the distinctive reverse gull-wing design and fuselage shape, down to the panel lines. The canopy is a clear part, allowing a view into the cockpit even after assembly. The kit also includes one pilot figure that fits inside the cockpit. Additionally, the landing gear can be assembled either extended or retracted. Furthermore, this kit reproduces the engine. The cowling can be removed even after assembly, allowing you to enjoy the mechanical feel.
