A new model joins the MT-G series, featuring the essential functional beauty achieved by fusing metal and resin, along with TRIPLE GRESIST. The MTG-B1000 debuts with enhanced wearability thanks to a new shock-resistant structure and a mid-sized case. A new shock-resistant structure, developed specifically for MT-G, joins G-SHOCK's lineup of always-advanced shock resistance. It employs the “New Core Guard Structure,” which integrates the lugs connecting the band and the pipe to form a wall, creating a box-shaped frame to protect the module. Furthermore, the center case protecting the module uses carbon fiber reinforced resin, achieving both weight reduction and further evolution in shock resistance. The base of the band combines highly durable fine resin parts with metal parts to ensure strength. The case and band connection uses a metal pipe as the axis, secured with screws. This anti-vibration structure prevents band loosening by allowing the connection point to rotate. Furthermore, by resizing exterior structural parts and reconfiguring their combination, the MT-G series achieves its first mid-size case. The case diameter has been reduced by 2.8mm on the 12 o'clock to 6 o'clock side and 1.8mm on the 3 o'clock to 9 o'clock side, with a thickness of 1.1mm. This mid-size case, combined with the soft urethane band, improves wearability. Each edge of the metal parts forming the exterior features a mirror polish, while each surface has a hairline finish, pursuing the beauty of the finish that is the essence of a watch. Furthermore, the use of highly transparent sapphire glass and the delicate engraving on the indexes and sub-dials, achieved through the fine machining technology at Casio's Yamagata Factory, further enhance the quality feel. To improve time correction accuracy, the new module incorporates the “Connected Engine”. Using Bluetooth communication, it links with a smartphone via the dedicated “G-SHOCK Connected*” app to obtain time information from internet time servers. Furthermore, it features Multi-Band 6, supporting six standard radio stations worldwide. Within coverage areas, it automatically corrects the time without needing a smartphone connection. This enables accurate time display anywhere in the world. The dedicated “G-SHOCK Connected” app simplifies setting watch functions like World Time, Timer, and Alarm. It also includes “Watch Status Display” and “User Attention Display,” providing reliability for the product and peace of mind for the user.
