The striking black accents the silver accents, emphasizing the G-SHOCK's signature strength while creating a monotone design that complements a wide range of styles. The GMW-B5000BT features a mirror-finished top bezel and silver vapor deposition on portions of the crystal, adding a sophisticated shine to its tough style. The GM-B2100BT and GMC-B2100BT feature a hairline-finished top bezel for a subdued metallic look. Furthermore, for enhanced visibility, the indices are silver vapor deposition, creating a striking contrast with the dial. The stainless steel bezel is beautifully crafted through painstaking processes including forging, cutting, and polishing. To achieve the full-metal shock resistance, a fine resin buffer is placed between the bezel and the case. The metal band pieces are dimpled, inheriting the resin band design of the original G-SHOCK. These watches are manufactured at Yamagata Casio, the mother factory that produced the original G-SHOCK. Furthermore, the stainless steel cases of the GMW-B5000BT and GM-B2100BT feature a highly airtight screw-back case.
