Description
Gentosha-479100-Mancala Karah-Revised Edition
Mancala (also known as Karah) is a competitive strategy game played worldwide since ancient times, considered one of the oldest board games. It has been enjoyed for centuries in Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, with over 100 distinct variations played across the globe. The gameplay is simple yet involves no luck; it requires strategy such as “thinking ahead” and “bluffing.” This wooden game is enjoyable for all ages, serving as educational for children and brain training for adults. The included guide features four different ways to play. (Mankala Basic Rules) 1. Place four stones in each pocket. The front pockets belong to the first player, and the back pockets belong to the second player. 2. The first player chooses one pocket from their side and takes all the stones inside. They then place one stone at a time, starting from the pocket immediately to the right and moving counterclockwise. 3. If the last stone is placed in a goal pocket, it's their turn again. If it's placed in a regular pocket, it's the opponent's turn.
4. Players take turns repeating this process. The first player to empty their home base wins.
