Players battle in pairs, taking turns in a knockout tournament.
Setup: Each player draws one Character Card and two Feature Cards.
Battle: The first player freely thinks of and speaks about “how their character is stronger than the opponent's character.” The second player counters by explaining why their character is stronger. This happens over two turns. Victory: Players other than the two battling decide by majority vote who they think won the battle. Repeat until one player wins all their battles to become the Chatter Fighter. Stage Cards change the battle location and victory conditions. Win by escaping in “Dinosaur Era,” lose if you fall in love at “Matchmaking Party,” win by landing a job in “Job Market Freeze,” lose if you get scared at “Haunted Spot,” and more. Each scene changes how you use your character and traits, making it exciting. n
