Bristles as fine and soft as baby hair. Excellent paint holding capacity and minimal brush streaks.
The “God Brush” is a delicate brush crafted by brush artisans specializing in synthetic bristles, creating each individual hair.
Unlike typical synthetic fiber brushes, the bristles remain smooth, resist breakage, and maintain a feel like a brand-new brush. The “Ubuge” series uses even finer, softer hair, giving the brush tip a sensation that is truly as soft and fluffy as baby hair. Even with softer water-based paints, it glides smoothly without scraping the paint film. It is also convenient for thinly spreading special paints or runny paints.
The “Flat Round Brush” comes in two tip thicknesses: M and L. Brush width: 5mm, Tip length: 7.5mm. Ideal for smoothly coating slightly larger areas. The absence of sharp edges disperses pressure, allowing for a gentle touch that minimizes impact on the substrate. Perfect for painting figure clothing and skin. Furthermore, the softness of the “ubuge” bristles prevents visible brush strokes and allows for smooth application even with weak paint films. The bristles are made from pure Japanese-made synthetic hair (PBT). Safe for use with both water-based and solvent-based paints. Handcrafted individually by brush artisans. Animal hair brushes tend to damage, break, or become brittle when soaked in solvents, but Kami Fude's PBT bristles are resistant to solvents and less prone to damage. The stiffness is adjusted for easy model painting, resulting in a more flexible tip compared to standard synthetic fiber brushes. We offer various tip shapes to suit different painting scenarios. A short tip reduces paint absorption, causing the paint to dry quickly. Therefore, Kami-fude brushes are designed with a brush tip length that balances ease of use and water absorption. Thanks to specially processed PBT bristles, even bristles that have bent at the base can be restored to their original straight tip shape using water over 90°C (204°F).
