A 1/220 scale model of JR Freight's mainstay DC electric locomotive, the EF210 Class.
Features a PS22D lower-crossing pantograph. The Momotaro logo is beautifully reproduced via printing.
Perfect as a traction locomotive for container freight trains.
Standard equipment includes rubber tires on one wheel on each side, enabling operation on R95 track and climbing 4% gradients.
The motor, utilizing an ultra-powerful magnet, minimizes current draw while delivering powerful, responsive running with excellent slow control.
Etched parts are used for detailed areas requiring fine representation, such as handrails, for more realistic detail.
The body mold expression pushes the limits of the mold, and it is equipped with Arnold couplers, allowing connection with other manufacturers' Z gauge rolling stock.
Headlights illuminate. When using a controller for constant lighting, it functions as a constant light.
The EF210 locomotive was introduced in the late 1990s to replace the JNR-type DC locomotives.
When it first appeared, it was initially assigned to Okayama Depot, earning it the nickname “Momotaro.”
