Product Description
EvaWater is a weakly acidic hypochlorous acid (HCIO) solution, currently the leading disinfectant.
Made from sodium hypochlorite—a safe ingredient also used as a food additive—weakly acidic hypochlorous acid water is easy to use and is increasingly adopted across various fields requiring disinfection, such as hospitals and the food industry. However, its disinfection capability is significantly influenced by pH. Conventional production methods (electrolysis method, two-liquid method) struggle to stabilize pH levels. At high pH, disinfection capability drops, while excessively low pH can cause issues like chlorine gas generation. We have successfully developed a new method to generate active hypochlorous water that solves these problems in conventional methods. We named this method the “Ion Exchange Method” (patent pending). Using proprietary technology, we adjust it to a safe and reliable pH range and remove byproducts to the utmost extent using ion exchange resin. We have achieved a gentle disinfectant and deodorizer with significantly higher purity than conventional hypochlorous acid water. Eva Water suppresses pH through the autonomous action of its substances and remains stable within its effective range. This makes it a disinfectant water combining powerful disinfection capabilities with high safety, as demonstrated by an acute toxicity test on rats at 500ppm conducted by the Japan Food Research Laboratories.
