This plastic kit recreates the 201 Series commuter train, clad in Canary Yellow and active on the Chuo and Sobu Local Lines. At 1/80 scale, it meticulously reproduces everything from the underfloor equipment and bogie structure to the driver's cab and interior hanging straps. The bogies, meticulously crafted down to the disc brakes, are impressive even as individual components. Pre-colored parts allow you to enjoy the classic appearance simply by assembling the kit. Details like the ATS unit, skirting, and end piping are faithfully reproduced. The leading car set includes both KuHa 201 and KuHa 200. Pair it with the intermediate car set to recreate the scene of these orange 201 Series trains in service. *For running capability, please use the separately sold “201 Series Running Kit A (for KuHa 201/KuHa 200)”. Total length: approx. 250mm. This is a plastic kit requiring assembly and painting. Tools, paint, etc. are required separately.
