A new Nagano specialty is born.
PLUMPMOA's next paper kit series brings to life the soul food of Nagano residents: the Shinshu-born ramen chain “Minna no Tenhou (Suwa Jonan Store)” in 3D.
Operated by Tenhou Foods Co., Ltd., “Minna no Tenhou” was founded in 1956 (Showa 31) in Kamisuwa, Suwa City, Nagano Prefecture, and has been beloved by many Nagano residents ever since. It is now a gyoza and ramen restaurant chain with 33 locations (as of April 2024) throughout Nagano Prefecture.
Positioned as the flagship store, the “Suwa Jonan Store” features the Tenhou character “Tentsuru-kun Family” on its exterior, making its unique design a highlight.
The storefront, rear entrance, and intricate building patterns are rendered using techniques unique to paper craft.
The “signboard” and “Ten-tsuru-kun Family” are included as color POP sheets in the instructions.
Simply cut them out and attach them for a finish closer to the actual store.
Being a small 1/150 scale building, it's perfect for standalone collection or integration into N-gauge dioramas.
