While standard inner cables are constructed by twisting together 19 strands, this product is made from 31 strands.
This provides greater suppleness and flexibility compared to conventional products. This makes installation easier in tight handlebar routing situations like those common today. It also results in lighter handlebar operation. Feature 2: Durability (Longer Life) The strands are twisted at a higher density compared to conventional products, reducing the gaps between strands. Re-adjustment after installation is also reduced. Pre-stretch processed (a treatment that eliminates gaps between strands to suppress initial stretch and minimize post-installation elongation).
