The definitive next-generation slick stainless inner cable. Flexibility: While standard inner cables are constructed by twisting together 19 strands, this product is made from 31 strands. This provides greater suppleness and flexibility compared to conventional products, making installation easier in tight handlebar routing situations like those encountered today. It also results in lighter handlebar operation. Durability: The tighter stranding reduces elongation and provides superior load-bearing capacity. Pre-tensioned processing (applies initial tension to minimize post-installation stretch) is included. Low Friction (Light Pull): The cable surface undergoes slick processing to achieve near-perfect roundness, followed by a special coating (electroplated coating). This results in lower friction than simple slick processing or PTFE (Teflon) coating. The coating is also highly resistant to peeling, ensuring the smooth pull remains consistent over the long term.
