Product Description
TACOM “1/350 German Army Flak Tower 4 Heiligengeistfeld Anti-Aircraft Gun Tower G Tower” is a plastic model kit.
Flaktowers (anti-aircraft towers) were reinforced concrete high-rise air defense structures built by the German Air Force during World War II as urban air defense facilities to protect strategically important cities from Allied air raids.
Flaktowers consisted of the G-tower, which housed anti-aircraft guns, and the L-tower, a command tower equipped with radar and anti-aircraft fire control systems. After the war, the armaments and various equipment were removed, and the dismantling and removal of the anti-aircraft towers themselves progressed. However, many still exist and have been repurposed for various uses. Flak Tower 4 Heiligengeistfeld Anti-Aircraft Tower: A first-generation anti-aircraft tower built in Hamburg in October 1942. It is currently used as a nightclub with a music school and music shop attached.
