Product Introduction
This is the TACOM 1/35 10.5cm Assault Howitzer 42 E/F Type Plastic Model Kit.
The 10.5cm Assault Howitzer 42 (StuH42) was a vehicle converted from a Panzer III Assault Gun by replacing its main gun with a 10.5cm howitzer for attacking pillboxes. Its official designation was Panzer III Assault Gun with 10.5cm Assault Howitzer 42, with the official designation Sd.Kfz.142/2. Early models featured a muzzle brake, but later production models from late 1944 onwards did not have one.
The kit reproduces the Panzer III Assault Gun E/F model hull, complete with the complex towing hook structure on the front hull.
