▪️ Care Instructions After Use ・After use, gently knead the ink from the tip while rinsing with water. It is especially important to thoroughly wash away the ink residue near the base. If this is not done sufficiently, ink can pool at the base, leading to ink spoilage or bristle breakage. After washing, reshape the brush using scrap paper while removing excess moisture. Store in a well-ventilated area, preferably hung to dry.
・If the brush dries with ink still on the bristles, the tip may be difficult to loosen for the next use. In such cases, apply solid soap to your hands and gently knead the tip to loosen it. However, since bristles are sensitive to alkaline substances like soap, normally wash the brush with water only.
・The protective cap on the brush tip at purchase should be discarded after the tip has been used with ink. Placing the cap back on after washing traps moisture, causing decay, and may damage the bristles by pinching them.
・For long-term storage, place mothballs or similar insect repellents with the brush. Air-dry the brush once or twice a year. This is especially important during humid rainy seasons when mold can grow, making this period an ideal time for airing.
