Product Description A long-selling product from TOMY for over 40 years since its release. The original model was the ‘Plastic Train Rail Set’ released in 1959, which was played with by rolling it by hand. Since then, improvements have been made to make assembly easier and eliminate malfunctions, but no fundamental model changes have been made. In the 1960s, a 3-car set with a built-in small motor was released, and the 3-car set remains the standard configuration today. Its appeal lies in its high play flexibility: a 3-year-old child can play independently, or add more track layouts to run the trains. Parents can also join in to create large-scale layouts, building entire towns.
