Aoshima Bunka Kyozai Sha 1/700 Waterline Series No.440 Imperial Japanese Navy Destroyer Hatsuki Plastic Model Aoshima's Waterline Series has been renewed with greater precision.. This 1/700 scale plastic model kit depicts Hatsuki, the fourth ship of the Akizuki-class destroyers. Built as an anti-aircraft destroyer, she famously challenged a U.S. Navy cruiser force single-handedly during the Battle of Leyte Gulf. Featuring a parts configuration focused on key elements, it offers simple, easy assembly while achieving accurate reproduction. Newly designed fittings, including the characteristic Akizuki-class “10cm anti-aircraft guns” and ship's boats, have been added. Slide molds were used to achieve intricate and precise molding.. Armaments, such as the destroyer's main guns and machine guns, along with various fittings, have been updated..
