The concept is simple assembly, simple transformation.
Mechanical designer Kunio Okawara's “cool and cute” stylized robots are appearing one after another as plastic models. The assembly manual also features a serialized comic by Kouichi Tokita. The lively minions of the Evobeast Army, the “C-Rex,” can transform from a stylized robot into a Tyrannosaurus without any part swapping.
The core section, common to the series, is constructed using 3mm joints connecting numerous “simple design joints.” Combining these allows for a wide range of play, such as adding frames or building new transformation mechanisms. The 3mm joint is standardized across various Kotobukiya original series like Frame Arms, Hexagear, Frame Arms Girl, and Megami Device, allowing you to create mechs based on various motifs depending on your ideas.
