The film shrinks when heated, and the adhesive applied to its back activates its bonding strength when heated. Using an iron or hair dryer to heat the film removes wrinkles and sagging while simultaneously bonding it.
This adhesive does not become sticky when cooled to room temperature, making it easy to handle even after peeling off the backing sheet.
