KATO N Gauge Sound Card 22-202-6 - Model Railroad Accessories
This is the first sound card featuring diesel engine sounds.
It covers not only the KiHa 58 series, but also the sound produced by the DMH17 (H) engine and the common sound of JNR standard-specification diesel railcars equipped with hydraulic torque converters. This sound card covers vehicles from Hokkaido to Kyushu, covering everything from secondary lines to local lines.
Pressing Function Button “2” during acceleration reproduces the real vehicle's “gear shift to direct drive” (equivalent to shifting up in a car). Coasting is also reproduced.
Running in gear shift mode also limits the vehicle's speed, allowing you to recreate the straining climb up steep gradients on local lines.
This is also effective for speed control on small layouts with sharp curves.
All sounds except Function “4・ATS” are newly produced for diesel railcars.
The sound-synchronized card allows you to enjoy acceleration/deceleration that follows the running sound, giving the sensation of driving a real diesel railcar.
An emergency stop function is built into the eject button.
