KATO N Gauge Sound Card 22-241-2 - Model Railroad Accessories
Sound cards for JNR-era limited express trains are now available. Compatible with the 485 series, as well as the 489 series, 183 series, 189 series, 583 series, and others.
Reproduces the quiet atmosphere and sense of speed characteristic of limited express trains, combined with the sound of the JNR standard MT54 motor. Combined with sounds like the resistor blower and ATS-S warning tone, it evokes the atmosphere of JNR-era rolling stock.
The whistle includes both a standard version and a variation incorporating the echo sound heard during high-speed operation. Enjoy the whistle of your choice.
Reproduces the “AC/DC Switching” sequence (onboard switching type, including air circuit breaker operation sound ~ power loss ~ restoration) to simulate passing through dead sections.
