Enjoy operating your model railroad while realistically experiencing changes in running sounds based on operating conditions.
Pressing the six function buttons allows playback of various sounds emitted by the actual train for different scenes, as well as English onboard announcements. Realistically recreates sounds characteristic of the Class 800's equipment, such as its distinctive whistle (separate low and high-pitched tones), door opening/closing, and brake squeal (the sound of rails and wheels rubbing during braking). Enjoy both pure electric train mode for electrified sections and diesel mode for non-electrified sections using a single sound card. When switching to diesel mode, the starter motor sound is followed by the continuous roar of the generator engine. During acceleration, the engine RPM increase is reproduced just like the real vehicle. In Sound Synchronization Mode, acceleration/deceleration follows the running sounds, providing a driving experience akin to operating the actual train. In Controller Priority Mode, the vehicle runs according to the power pack's operation, similar to controller-synchronized sound cards. The “Sync Setting Save” function remembers the last sync mode when the sound box is powered off, maintaining the setting upon the next startup. The package includes a “Function Label” compatible with the sound box. ※Model railroads use a system where power is supplied through the rails.
