KATO N Gauge - 211 Series 0 Subseries - 10-Car Set - 10-1848
This 10-car set and 5-car supplementary set reproduce the N4 and N54 formations seen around 1992 at the Tamachi Depot, composed of Salo 212 (double-deck) and Salo 211 (standard type) cars. \
This special edition reproduces the N1 and N51 formations composed of Salo 210 and 211 (standard type) cars from the Tamachi Depot during the final years of the Japanese National Railways (JNR) in 1986.\
It accurately recreates the form lacking the bead and orange band on the panel beside the destination sign at the car ends, featuring the circular base for the train radio antenna. \
Roof ventilators are reproduced as separate parts.\
The distinct texture characteristic of stainless steel cars is reproduced.\
The pantograph is a newly designed PS21.\
Headlights/tail lights reproduce the type with uniformly sized casings. All leading cars feature headlights/tail lights and illuminated front displays (with an off switch). \
Power cars feature slotless motors. Attached formations omit traction tires to accommodate coupled operation.\
Intermediate couplings come standard with body-mounted KATO close-coupling type. Achieves realistic coupling faces and smooth running.\
Front couplings use KATO close-coupling type (without hook), with electrical connection parts included. \
